So there has been some crazy shit going on in my life and almost all of it centers around work.
I've been waiting for things to settle down to do a blog entry and the time finally feels right so at some point this weekend I'm going to post a doozy.
Stay tuned.....and yes, this is a total tease posting so sue me lol

Update as of Wednesday, February 19/20 - this is probably one of my longest posts and taking some serious time to prepare as I've got to do some major editing to protect myself, so please be patient and it'll be up over the next couple of days.

Happy Valentine's Day
Friday, February 14/20
Today is that special artificial day created by the consortium of florists, candy shops, restaurants, and Hallmark.
Do you detect a smidge bit of sarcasm in that opening paragraph?
Well, you are 100% right my friends.
I am not a big fan of this day, not in the least. It's not because I don't believe in celebrating love with that special someone, but rather from the forced nature of this one day, where if you don't do something to show how much your partner means to you then society looks down on you for not stepping up.
How about all the other days where you do those little things that make your partner smile or feel like they mean the world to you, those days where the world isn't watching to see you in action.
Those are the days I appreciate more than any other on the calendar.
Oddly enough, from my talks with people, both male and female, it appears that I'm not in the minority here and there is a large part of the population that doesn't like this day any more than I do.
But there is absolutely nothing wrong with wishing someone a Happy Valentine's Day so consider yourselves so addressed lol
My name is Marcus and I'm spending this special day like I've spent the last 5, alone and content to just stay the course and see what happens.
Today's musical suggestion is "Wanted" by OneRepublic. I suggest the version where a symphony accompanies them as it's the best, in this person's humble opinion.
Got a question for me? Want to vent about something going on in your life? Feel like calling me out on a blog you've read and wholeheartedly disagree with? ping me at ooasm2018@gmail.com
